[this is good]
So,let me get this straight-the Nazi 'announcer' was mimicking the Jewish Eddie Cantor(he of the rolling eyes),while the band-lame but obviously influenced by well-known 'Negro degenerates' Fletcher Henderson AND Coleman Hawkins-played along in an effort to undermine Allied morale? Hmm...I guess you can listen to just so many spins of Body And Soul before the 'transformation' takes place. Could have told em' that had they asked me-but after all, this was decades before 'you are what you eat' became a boomer mantra. Or,in this case, perhaps-'you are what you hate'. Clearly,Hawk vs. The Third Reich was a no-brainer. BTW,how did that '1,000-year Reich' thing turn out, anyway?
